POEMS

Cradle view

Oustretched fingers

Contact made with innocence

Clear,confused,question-filled eyes

Restlessly flaying limbs

Smile,spontaneous!

I hear sounds

Zizzle zazzy blend of consonant and vowels

Spitting through drools

From mouthy trials

Once in life-never comes back.

LOUD SILENCE

Her face is pale
Her face is drawn
Filled with visible words
Yet unnoticed.
Neck wells plunged deep
Like a lean damsel
With fat body.
Screams of pain through sealed lips
Heard silently  across the desk.
‘Speak!’  They say.
But try as she may
Her lips remained
Sealed through her screams.
